Managers were formed to manage budgets, products and processes, but fewer to manage humans. It is indeed easier to teach techniques and methods (hard skills) rather than ways of behaving (soft skills). However, humans are at the center of any organization, whether they are CEOs, employees, clients or shareholders.
The current context of a hyper-competitive world leads companies to focus their efforts on productivity and forget about the human aspect of their organization.
More than ever, interpersonal relationships are a crucial factor in the success or the failure of an organization but also in the fulfillment of its individuals.
Far away from being an easy competence to develop, soft skills might be the determining factor that will make the difference in your professional career.
Learning objectives:
Let’s face it, people do business with those they know, like and trust.
Have you ever noticed that when there is a lack of trust, transactions tend to be drawn out and communication is halted? The opposite is equally true; if two parties trust each other, transactions are quick and communication is simple. But before arriving at that point, your clients first need to know who you are and you have to quickly develop a memorable experience so that trust can be established over time.
The question is: How do you get to that point? How do you gain recognition? What is the “magic formula” to create powerful bonds with others so that they desire to do business with you?
Learning Objectives:
Businesses everywhere are looking for team members that are creative, motivated and engaged to come on board and promote their mission and goals. In this context, diversity should not only be embraced and part of the company culture, but also developed and maintained.
Recent research supports the fact that diversity in all its forms indeed leads to more effective business practices. In order to capitalize on it, inclusion are a key element. So, to capitalize on this fact, businesses need to be in the practice of encouraging their employees to cultivate a diversity mindset. Not only will this aid in the mutual comprehension and adoption of this mindset but will also lead to more productivity and an increased sense of well-being at the workplace.
More than ever before, the human factor along with interpersonal relationships play a crucial role in the success or failure of an organization, as well as the growth of individuals themselves.
This conference will empower you and challenge you to reflect on the importance of diversity and inclusion within your organization.
Learning Objectives:
Let's stop for a moment to see what's going on. The COVID-19 pandemic that has been going on for more than 2 months has severely disrupted our economic and societal model. The digital dimension has proven to be the most crucial to ensure the proper functioning of businesses.
This interlude in our lives is a good time to step back and realize the reality that is ours: the digital age is now, for everyone. Over the past 30 years, the digital acceleration in our world has produced failures, but also successes.
Beyond that, it becomes essential to stay ahead of digital trends. The general public is talking about a technology? It is already obsolete for companies, which are months or even years ahead of the habits of tomorrow's consumers.
Tools, resources, software and experiences are evolving. When working at your organization, you must be one step ahead of your customers' needs.
So, how can you best help companies to achieve their objectives? The answer is within you!

« Benoit is an amazing speaker, full of energy, a great sense of humour and has a very relevant and inspirational message to share. Benoit was our keynote speaker at our leadership conference on Soft Skills in September 2019. The appreciative part was that he took the time to really understand what we were looking for and customized to our needs. The feedback from the managers was overwhelming positive. We felt very lucky to have him on stage at our leadership conference. We would highly recommend him. »
