Jocelyn Pinet is an author, a speaker and a consultant who’s been helping organizations gather stakeholders around common visions, goals and strategies since 1986. He creates and facilitates seminars, trainings and conferences to help participants understand the challenges they are faced with and find ways to meet them. Recognized for his ability to turn words and concepts into powerful images and for his dynamic, interactive and pragmatic approach, he has facilitated hundreds of events around the world, in both French and English, with groups ranging from 20 to 2000 people working in all types of industries, ranging from tire making to global banking. Jocelyn uses creative methods and innovative facilitation tools designed to put participants’ intelligence and experience to contribution, making their meeting a powerful experience that has a strong impact on their future actions and those of their organization. Jocelyn was previously director of sales, of marketing and of operations for retail and distribution companies operating across Canada. Expert advisor to the Quebec’s Movement for Quality, he is considered a pioneer in the field of customer service. Founding member and past president of Quebec’s Association for Customer Service, he wrote a best-selling how-to book to help managers increase the quality of service in their organizations. He recently published ‘Human Nature’, an inspirational book that illustrates human behaviors through analogies taken from nature, which hit 12th position in the French book charts in Canada this winter and is now sold both in France and the United States. He is frequently asked to comment on the challenges of today’s organizations and his interviews have appeared in national magazines and newspapers and on major television and radio stations in Canada.
